Imessage Error Occurred During Activation Try Again Mac

Hey guys! I have a trouble with these two apps. I bought this MacBook from a guy I know, it's in an amazing condition, simply two years old and barely used but I can't activate these two services. I checked my Apple tree ID on practical.apple.com and it'south fine. I signed into iCloud and it was fine, merely with these two all I get is:
Could not sign in to iMessage.
An mistake occurred during activation. Effort over again.
Same for FaceTime. What could exist the issue?

I have the same effect simply on both. Mac and iPhone and I'yard not able to make information technology work. I tried well-nigh evrything what I found on the internet, but last thing (factory reset) yet remain.

It's so abrasive. I googled the trouble and literally tried every suggestion I've found and aught worked.
I dunno if I should way for High Sierra, mayhap that'll change something...

I ended with Apple support and they told me that it's hardware outcome of my iPhone, probable simcard, only they didn't explain to me way it's non working on my Mac then. I'm being dissapointed

I was an Area Manager for one of the big wireless carriers and nosotros had a similar issue that turned into an escalation that I had to bargain with and this situation reminds me of it. Basically, the client purchased a brand new iPhone from ane of my stores a week earlier and it didn't come with a preinstalled sim card when the employee opened up the sealed box, and then the employee simply pulled out a new sim carte du jour from our inventory and activated it with the device. The customer came dorsum into the store a week subsequently because he couldn't get FaceTime to work on his iPhone and we eventually found out that the IMEI (like to a series number) was associated with a device that was supposed to exist sent to Saudia Arabia, where the government doesn't allow FaceTime. I'thou not sure if the iMessage was working on the device or not, since most people don't pay attention to information technology with the power of it utilizing text messaging besides. I highly doubt that this is the issue as I take never seen anything similar this occur before but I'yard certain information technology could happen once again. A call to the correct person at Apple can verify that your device is registered for United states of america but I would exist a lot of reps would just tell you lot that is a United states device without actually looking information technology up.

I'grand still fighting with this also. Proficient news is, that I switched Internet access provider and now iMessage and Facetime are woking on my iPhone. Unfortunately on my MacBook still not. I was digging around and found out that I'm able to run it from Guest account without any problem so it'll be some stupid thing what blocking it. It looks that it stuck on logging in.
Things what I have done:
ane. NVRAM Reset
2. Disable Firewall, KeyChain, Add together public DNS
3. Deleting keys from KeyChain which belongs to iMessage
4. Condom Kicking etc
Simply things what I want to endeavour is to motility all files from ~/Library/Preferences and endeavor it to run information technology stride by pace.
EDIT: It doesn't work either

I'm still fighting with this likewise. Good news is, that I switched Internet service provider and now iMessage and Facetime are woking on my iPhone. Unfortunately on my MacBook notwithstanding not. I was digging around and found out that I'm able to run it from Guest business relationship without any problem and then information technology'll be some stupid affair what blocking it. It looks that it stuck on logging in.

4. Safe Boot etcSimply things what I desire to endeavor is to movement all files from ~/Library/Preferences and attempt information technology to run information technology step by step.

Did you lot stock-still it?
I have the same trouble on my mac, but it but happen with one apple id, if I attempt other ane... it works
