Galaxy Tab a 8 Inch Accessories Galaxy Tab a 8 Inch Blue Tooth Keyboard
Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 is not perfect, I think it offers fantastic value. It got a very good score in my review and I'm continuing to use it. But what accessories should you get for this tablet? I get that question quite often and, well – here are the covers, sleeves, stands, keyboards, and microSD cards I'm using with this tablet.

By the way, I bought all these accessories and the tablet myself. They're not sponsored by any company. I don't like to waste money, so all the stuff I'll be listing here is pretty affordable. They do offer a great value though and I've been using many for several years now.
Okay, let's check out the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 accessories I am using.
Infiland Case For Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019
Infiland Galaxy Tab A Case on* Amazon
After looking at a bunch of different cases, I decided to get the Infiland Case for the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019. It fits the tablet perfectly, has cutouts for all the ports and cameras, and the design looks nice. It has a pleasant texture and you can get it in different colors. It protects all sides of the tablet and can also function as a stand.
There are tons of similar cases on Amazon. Usually, you can get decent cases for 10 to 15 US Dollars and the Infiland one fits that price range with roughly 14 US Dollars.
KIZUNA Tablet Sleeve

Now, the KIZUNA Tablet Sleeve works with pretty much every 10 to 11-inch tablet. To be honest, I mostly bought it because I liked the design. But it costs just 12 Dollars, is well made and again, fits pretty much every tablet.
However, with the Galaxy Tab A 10.1, it is not a tight fit. You'll have some extra room which can be very useful if you want to use the second pocket to store headphones, a small notebook or other accessories. I've used it when flying to store my passport, tickets, the tablet and other stuff I might need during the flight.
TUTUO USB C Dongle
TUTUO USB C Dongle on* Amazon
The tablet has a USB C port which is used to charge it, but you can also connect many kinds of USB C accessories like external SSDs and much more. I'm also using a little TUTUO USB C dongle which combines a full-size SD card and microSD card reader, as well as a USB 3.0 port in one little hub. You can get much bigger hubs too but usually, I just need a standard USB 3.0 port and a full-size SD card reader. You don't have to get the TUTUO one because there are lots of similar ones out there. They all work the same.
Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard
Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard on* Amazon
I get tons of questions about the keyboards I'm using in my videos. The one you see the most is the Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard. I've been using it for over two years now and it works great with most tablets including the Galaxy Tab A. Its battery can last up to several months, depending on how you use it. And it features a stand build into its cover.
The keyboard is a bit smaller than what you get with full-size notebooks. It's the size of most keyboards of 10 to 11-inch devices. However, that means it's very portable and I've gotten used to it fast. This is my favorite portable keyboard. But I should note that some people experienced problems with the battery according to Amazon reviews. I didn't experience those issues though.
Logitech K380
If you want to work with your tablet from home only, I would get a real full-size one. The one I'm using is the Logitech K380. It's a pretty popular keyboard and again, it works with almost every tablet. And it works great. I enjoy using it a lot. Almost every keyboard will work with the Galaxy Tab A. So, if you've got a desktop keyboard already, chances are you can just continue using that one.
Logitech Marathon M705 Mouse
Logitech Marathon M705 Mouse on* Amazon
If you plan to really work with this tablet at home, you might want to connect a mouse as well. While the Galaxy Tab A does not have a desktop mode, a mouse can be very useful if you work with text editing apps like Microsoft Word. It's just easier to jump between paragraphs and select texts that way especially if you're working with a real keyboard. I'm using the Logitech Marathon M705 mouse that I also use with my notebook. It works great but again, if you own a mouse already, just use that one.
UGreen Tablet Stand
UGreen Tablet Stand on* Amazon
My favorite stand for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 is the UGreen Tablet Stand. It costs just 10 US Dollars and it is a very simple stand mostly made of plastic. However, it does the job and works great. I've been using mine for over two years and it is a well-made stand even though it is a very cheap one.
SanDisk Extreme 128GB microSD Card
SanDisk Extreme 128GB microSD on* Amazon
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 has a microSD card slot and you can store apps and games on a microSD card too. I'm using the SanDisk Extreme 128GB microSD card. It offers lots of storage, is fast, but not too expensive with prices of around 25 US Dollars. You can use pretty much every card though but this one works great.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 is a very good tablet with a great value. Considering how inexpensive it is, you get a good screen, a solid build quality, and a powerful processor. It is running Android 9 Pie and should get updates for at least two years. Sadly, the base model features 2GB of RAM only. However, it's still good enough for most.
Positive
- Solid metal body
- Pretty screen
- Powerful processor
- Android 9.0 Pie
- Good cameras
- Decent speakers
Negative
- Base model with 2GB RAM
- Speakers on just one side
- No fingerprint scanner
